Just walking into the Felipe Care Homes you know they are exceptional Board and Care Home. The caregivers are friendly and welcoming which is a direct reflection of their positive work environment and the residents look happy and well cared for. The homes are well-maintained with lovely gardens and are located in beautiful neighborhoods in Danville.

It has been my pleasure providing social activities in the Felipe Care Homes for more than 20 years and I truly believe they are one of the very best care homes in the area. The owner, Bernadette is a registered nurse, has years of experience managing her care homes, and is a very compassionate person. She and her staff go above and beyond what the average care home offers to assure their residents are given the quality care they deserve.

Finding the right care home for a loved one can be challenging with so many options. However, anyone living at Felipe Care Homes would be, in my opinion, the most fortunate with the loving and attentive care they provide!

Hi Bernadette.

Elaine and I had a chance to speak with Lisa and Susie today. Both expressed deep gratitude for the loving care received from you, Pam and all the care givers at Felipe's Danville Care Home. They used words like kindness, safety, trust, meticulous me control, cleanliness, attention to detail, excellent communication. Come to think of it, if we had recorded our conversations, they would have been excellent postings for your social media. What we heard is that you reputation in the senior care community is top notch. I'm guessing word of mouth is all you need to maintain you home capacity.

Dear Wonderful Danville Care Home,

Thank you all for taking such loving and attentive care of my grandpa while he was in your home.

Your kindness and love will never be forgotten. Each of you made a difference in his final months and days, and I a m so glad he had you.

I appreciate your patience, gentleness, and respect as you cared for him, and all your residents. You are an outstanding team.

Bernadette and the Paraiso Gardens Staff,

I Our family wishes to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the many years that Tom spent in your loving home. He was blessed to have been adopted into your extended family. He as forever praising you for his home there, the care, food - he loved the cooking, and never got enough of your great coffee. You loved and cared for him beyond measure, a wonderful Christian trait.

There was never a time when Tom didn't receive the upmost care. When he underwent severe trauma and was reliant on you for above and beyond care, you never made him, or his family, feel that he was a burden. He was always treated with complete respect. You rose to occasion after occasion through difficult periods and complained.

It is with sadness that Tom's time with you has come to a close. He has gone home be with His Lord and Savior and for that we are thankful and blessed. We know and feel that you miss him also. May God be with all of you and comfort you as only He can. A piece of us all is missing now, never to return, yet he will be with us in precious memories.

Our prayers will be with as you continue to provide such excellent care for the current and next generation of families coming to your home. May God in His wise mercy continue to bless you as you carry on His will in taking loving care of his precious creations.

God's grace and blessing always.

May God continue to watch over you and your people, as you provide the loving care your heavenly Father and Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ have asked of you.

Bernadette and Hayden,

Here is an article written by Colleen about the benevolent organization that have been so helpful and generous to them since his injury. Reading this we can't help but think of you and Hayden and the staff at 1296 who are always so thoughtful and caring for Ralph and his special needs, i.e., like when you and Hayden took Ralph to see the dermatologist when we were on vacation with Mark and his family in Colorado, and Lao helping us with our first outing with Ralph to see Dr. M. and all the special care with Ralph's wounds on legs, arms and back. And his night watchers too.

We could go on and on about the quality loving care you provide in your homes. We just want you to know how much we, and Mark and Colleen appreciate and benefit from the love and care you give to Ralph.

Thank you so much,

Peggy and Ed

Dear Bernadette and the Amazing Team at the Danville Care Home,

While our hearts are heavy with the passing of our father, we could not be more pleased with the love and care bestowed upon him these last few months by each of you at the Danville care Home. You truly are a dedicated team blessed with generous hearts. Thank you for creating a welcoming and caring environment to spend his final days. We are grateful for your patience, your humor and your acceptance of his quirks - Tic Tac Dee! Bless each of you and the team at Continuum Care Hospice - you are wonderful. More grateful we could not be.

Peace to you,

Family of D.D.

Dear Bernadette,

You are such a special person with such a warm heart.

The big and little things you did for Amelia, "her girl" gave her such comfort in so many ways. She trusted and loved you in a family sort of way.

May God's love uplift you and his blessings be with you.

With warm appreciation,

Dwight and Sherry

Bernadette and Hayden,

This is very tardy note to you - thanking you both for all the loving care you provided our mom. You always went the extra mile! We are so relieved that she could spend her last years in such comfort, especially with her Buddy Founds.

Take care,

Kristen

Hi Bernadette,

I was over at Golden Pond today and wanted to share some observations with you.

As you know, I visit every Tuesday and since moving her to your care, I feel I see many improvements. She is more engaged and involved when we open her mail. She is moving better - the word sprightly comes to mind - and eager to participate in shopping or banking trips. Her room is always clean and bright and her clothing looks cared for and clean (and is nicely matched - rather than the random things she'd have previously). Little details, like changing her earrings or checking she has her hair freshly shampooed make a huge difference to her self-esteem and - most importantly - involve interaction with another human being. I feel that the high standard of care she receives has given her a new lease on life and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

In addition, I hear how the other residents are spoken to and it touches my heart to see the kindness and care that your staff - especially Agnes and Lau - show the residents. Everyone I come into contact with is professional and caring but Agnes is truly the heart of the house.

Please share my thanks with your staff - you really do provide a CARING HOME and not a warehouse.

Warmly,

Joy
